[Micronet] Agile Brown Bag: Noon, Monday 4/7: User Experience Mapping

Judy Dobry-2

Agile gurus urge us to concentrate on improving our customer's experience.  But how exactly do we do that.

One answer is user experience mapping (http://mappingexperiences.com/). User experience mapping captures the total customer experience so that we can keep the good parts and change the lousy parts.

Bernie Geuy does just that on CalCentral, the new Berkeley student portal.  At our next meeting, she will show us how we too can use user experience mapping to produce way better services for those we serve.

We are quite lucky to have Bernie on campus where she has been a consistently strong voice for students first as Director of Technology and Marketing for Campus Life and Leadership and now as Product Manager for ETS's CalCentral project.  Her technical knowledge and practical experience make her an ideal person to teach all of us how to better serve the students, faculty and staff who are our customers.

Everyone  is welcome at our biweekly meetings. No Agile experience is required.

Hope to see you there,

The Agile Organizing Committee
