  The seventh UC-wide IT Security Symposium will be held at UC Davis on June 16-17, 2015. (That's on a Tue and Wed, from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm each day.)

  If you're interested, please sign up soon: the event is now about two-thirds full, with a registration deadline of May 22, 2015.

The 2015 IT Security Symposium (June 16-17) is about two-thirds sold out. If you plan to attend, please register soon. Registration ends May 22, or sooner if the event fills up before then. Registration will not be available at the door.


The theme is “Secure Your Everywhere,” and the attractions include:


                • More than 70 information sessions, along with several hands-on labs

                • More than 20 leading security and technology vendors

                • Two keynotes: Grady Summers, senior vice president of cloud analytics at FireEye, and Scott Springer, FBI supervising special agent, Sacramento
