Berkeley Salesforce Community of Practice
Kick-off Meeting

Date:  Friday, August 14, 12pm
Location: IPIRA, 2150 Shattuck Ave., 10th floor conference room, 1019

UC Berkeley’s use of Salesforce.com has grown rapidly over the past few years. (Currently there are more than thirty instances of Salesforce.)  Join us as we kick off a Berkeley Salesforce Community of Practice to share knowledge and best practices.  The format for our first meeting will be brown bag lunch with facilitated discussion about launching a Community of Practice.  Even if you're only considering using Salesforce, please feel welcome to join us.

Possible Berkeley Salesforce Community of Practice Goals:
  • Provide a forum for Berkeley campus Salesforce users, administrators, programmers, and interested others
  • Provide demos and discussion of Berkeley custom-designed systems and use cases
  • Discuss common issues including: design, configuration, programming, training, use, and reporting
  • And others, to be determined
Possible topic list for regular meetings:
  • How are you building, using?
  • How do you drive user adoption?
  • Reporting and analytics
  • Training
  • System administration
  • Third party apps, what you’ve found useful
  • Data integration
  • CalNet sign on
  • Apex programming
  • Communities portal
  • Licensing, getting started
  • And others, to be determined
Please RSVP on EventBrite.

Best regards,

Eric Giegerich
