[Micronet] CAS outage in progress - CalNet team working on it

Dedra Chamberlin
Good morning,

Shortly after 9am this morning, CAS became unresponsive.  The Shibboleth service also relies on CAS.

The CalNet team is actively troubleshooting. We will restore service as quickly as we can.

Dedra,

I have a user who can't log into bMail though it seems to be working for those already logged in. Could this be her issue?

Hello again,

CAS (and Shib) were restored shortly after 10am. The outage impacted people attempting to log in to services for which they did not already have a valid service ticket. People who were already logged in to some systems, like email, were still able to use those services during the outage (the problem related to CAS servers connecting to the ticket registry). We are investigating root cause.
