[Micronet] CalAgenda project update

Ist-Comm Departmental

Good afternoon,

As previously announced (http://inews.berkeley.edu/articles/Apr-May2010/calagenda-bedework), IST is moving CalAgenda, the campus personal calendaring system, to new software. Necessary changes to the new calendaring system have been taking longer than anticipated, and the October timeline for calendar data conversion has been pushed back. The migration of calendar data is now expected to begin in November and continue through the winter break.

Key project updates include the following:

  • Development server will be deployed on October 12, 2010.
  • Account creation will begin in mid-November and continue through winter break.
  • Both systems will run in parallel until a cutover date is determined.

For more information, please see the iNews article.

Your colleagues in IST
