[Micronet] Depreciating legacy CAS service names May 16, 2016

Calnet-coordinator Departmental
Dear Campus Technologist,

On Monday, May 16, 2016, CalNet will deprecate all legacy CAS service names. On that date, the only name that will resolve to a production CAS server will be the auth.berkeley.edu name in the DNS.

Please make sure that you are pointing your CAS client service to the auth.berkeley.edu name. If you are still pointing to one of the many previous iterations of CAS server cluster names (such as auth2 or ncas), your service will not reach production CAS on May 16, 2016.

If you have any questions about this change, please email [hidden email].

Best,

The CalNet Team
