Below is what I noticed on CS6.  Make them update via another network like the wifi if you want to maintain a secure network policy.

"Jeff Bezos has now personally acquired The Washington Post for $250 million," that is why it is now running alongside AWS, not an AMZN asset at all I'm so sure.

All of these hostnames resolve to IPs within Akamai's Content
Distribution Network (CDN.)

Akamai and other CDN providers do clever tricks with server placement,
DNS, and routing to make downloads faster by hosting big content near
the edges of the Internet.  These hostnames will resolve to different
IPs depending on where and when you connect to the Internet, server
load, network load, or the whims of the CDN provider.  You cannot
reliably whitelist CDN hosted content by IP address.

Furthermore, because many companies hire the same CDN providers,
whitelisting these IPs could grant access to a lot more than just
Adobe downloads.

Your firewall may have the ability to define dynamic rules based on
DNS hostnames or higher layer traffic inspection, but be wary of DNS
caching in the firewall, and consider if you really want an outside
party's DNS updates altering your firewall rules.

Joe, your Little Snitch screencaps are for Creative Cloud (CC) stuff, which is likely more verbose then Creative Suite (CS) mentioned in the original post.

CS6 uses creative cloud to update, it is CS6 for Mac downloaded as an ISO image not the new cloud service.
