[Micronet] FINAL DRAFT proposed charter

Vivian Sophia
Hi Micronet,

Yesterday, the following revised Micronet charter was proposed:

--

Micronet is a voluntary organization for IT professionals at the University of California, Berkeley, and others who are involved with or interested in campus computing support.

Goals:
* Provide forums, both online and in-person, for announcements of campus information technology-related events, services, and projects, and for discussion of topics pertinent to campus computing services.
* Facilitate constructive interactions among the organization's members, and between its members and those of other complementary campus groups.

--

This version of the proposed charter has received considerable support, both on- and off-list.

If you, as a member of the Micronet mailing list, have any concerns or objections to this latest version that you want us to know about, you now have one last chance to post those *to the list* by end of day Sunday, February 8, 2015.

Otherwise, this will become Micronet's new charter starting Monday, February 9, 2015.

Thanks!
