Date: Tuesday, June 14, 2016 Time: noon - 1:30 pm Place:303 Doe Library Topic: Are Your Tables Accessible?
Please join us for the 10th annual Webnet meeting of Web Access: Are Your Tables Accessible?
Tables can be one of the most difficult elements to include in an accessible site. Come join the Berkeley Resource Center for Online Education (BRCOE) and the Web Access teams as they present one of BRCOE's online resources, which will provide insight on how to build accessible tables (with a variety of examples). The skills taught are universal and can relate to your work on any website, be it Canvas, Wordpress, Drupal or hand-coded HTML.
BRCOE has worked closely with the Web Access team for the past 2 years and has amassed a large library of best practices on how to create accessible online courses. This demonstration will be the first in a series of new online resources that will be offered by BRCOE to the Berkeley campus in the future. The Web Access team is proud to have them join us for our annual Webnet event, and look forward to seeing you all there!
