[Micronet] Fwd: You replied yes to UC Staff Hangout with President Janet Napolitano

Does IST know Janet Palatano will be using Google hangouts to meet up with staff?
So far as I know we can't use our bconnected account for this so I guess I'll have to activate a private account - is that right?

Yes, that's my understanding. Hangouts and Google+ aren't available in bMail. Faculty have used their personal gmail accounts to achieve Hangouts and Google+ here.

Funny thing though, if you have the old Google talk program, you can use that as a chat client.  It could be a work around…
