Azure Training Workshop

The target audience is IT Professionals from across campus who are looking to get hands-on experience using/administering services within Azure. 

 

 

This is the agenda:

 

Session 1 – Azure Workshop (~3 hours, 9-Noon)

·       Lab 1 – Extending your network into Azure; VNET to VNET; Configuring a Point-to-Site VPN

·       Lab 2 – Working Azure Storage

·       Lab 3 – Creating Virtual Machines; Understanding VM Templates

·       Lab 4 – Deploying AD DC in Azure; Azure AD

·       Lab 5 – Azure Site Recovery; Backup and Disaster Recovery

 

1 Hour Lunch Break (Noon-1pm)

 

Session 2 –Azure Advanced Workshop (~3 hours; 1PM-4PM)

·       Lab 6 – Azure Automation

·       Lab 7 – SQL DB; Application

·       Lab 8 – Setting up and configuring High Performance Computing

·       Lab 9 – HDInsight (Hadoop)

·       Lab 10 – Machine Learning

 

Space is limited so sign up before all of the seats are taken
