Process Improvement Methods and Tools at Campus Shared Services: The role of facilitation, metrics and project management.
Date: Friday, June 10, 2016
Time: 10:30 - 12:00
Place: 150 University Hall
This presentation will highlight the importance that facilitation, metrics, and project management skills have been to business process improvement work at Campus Shared Services (CSS). To level set the group’s understanding, we will begin with an overview of two business process improvement methodologies and tools: Lean Six Sigma’s DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control); and Lean/Quick Wins & Visual Management. We will then dive into the meat of the presentation with several examples of current CSS improvement projects to demonstrate how selecting the right tools and methodologies for your specific project can pay off.
George Noble, Director, Process Transformation and Innovation, CSS
Nick Endsley, Lead Process Transformation Consultant, CSS
