[Micronet] Safari Tech Books

Lynne Grigsby
I was looking up something this weekend and realized not everyone may be aware that the Library licenses the Safari Tech books published by O'Reilly:  http://www.uclibs.org/PID/33109

There are over 1000 of them, and they are free for you to use from a UCB IP, so from home you may have to set up the proxy or use the VPN (http://www.lib.berkeley.edu/Help/connecting_off_campus.html).

Enjoy.
Lynne

Thanks for the reminder, Lynne!

This is also a reminder that you can find this - and lots of other
technology resources available to the campus - via TechCommons.  For
example:

http://techcommons.berkeley.edu/product/safari-books-line

This page also describes an additional method for accessing the Safari
Books collection of O'Reilly Media (and other) books online.
