[Micronet] Today is Global Accessibility Awareness Day

Ist-Comm Departmental
Good morning,

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be visually impaired and unable to see the computer screen? May 15th is Global Accessibility Awareness Day. This is a community-driven effort to dedicate one day to raising the profile of, and introducing the topic of, digital accessibility and people with different disabilities around the world.

In celebration of Global Accessibility Awareness Day, the Web Accessibility team at Berkeley is pleased to announce their new Web Accessibility website, located at http://webaccess.berkeley.edu. The Web Accessibility team will also be giving a presentation to Webnet on June 10, 2014. More information to come…save the date!

For tips on how you can participate in Global Accessibility Awareness Day, read the iNews article:

Regards,
IT Communications
