There should be no cross-posts to both UCB-Security and Micronet.
Cross-posting is sending the same email at the same time to both
lists. In the very unusual case where the same message should be sent
to both lists, send the message twice, once to each list. However, if
you find yourself tempted to post the same message to both lists,
please reconsider whether this is truly necessary. If it is a
security-related topic, it probably should be sent to UCB-Security
alone. Otherwise, Micronet is probably the correct list.
Continuing in Hast to cover up my typo, I also should not have(wile
publicly available) discussed our operational disposition.
I had received a nice thank you from a Micronet user, so I thought I
would fallow up with a reminder about the ucb-security mailing list.
Messages you send to this mailing list are public and world-viewable, and the list's archives can be browsed and searched on the Internet. This means these messages can be viewed by (among others) your bosses, prospective employers, and people who have known you in the past.
