[Micronet] Unable to locate deleted email in Outlook 2007 via IMAP

Is there a way to configure the Outlook settings for the deleted email to go directly to “Deleted Items” folder in Outlook 2007 via IMAP? I have a user who couldn’t locate the email after it was deleted. It’s not in the “Deleted” folder nor “Deleted Items” folder. The deleted email just disappears. There was no strike-through when an email was deleted from any mail boxes. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.
