[Micronet] attachments behavior in bMail

Joyce Martin
Hi
we have some questions regarding attachments behavior in bMail.  We have done some tests...but, would like to confirm.

1.  If you forward an email that came in with attachments, do the attachments also get forwarded?  (our test - no, attachments are not forwarded)

2.  Some of my emails come in with an attachment icon ( paper-clip) viewable in the inbox.  When I open the email - can't find the attchmt.  Where is it?

Thanks!

Joyce,

When I forward, I see the attachments under the subject line. When I get an email and open it (by double clicking on it) the attachment is at the bottom with VIEW and DOWNLOAD as options.

I've had an occasional problem of attachments not coming to me when I
expected them. Just yesterday I received an email with the *names* of
the attachments at the very end of the body of the message but not
icons nor the attachments themselves. However, I've never been told
that attachments I forward haven't come through - except of course
when I happen to forget them.

But in general my experience is the same as Beth's:

> When I forward, I see the attachments under the subject line. When I get an email and open it (by double clicking on it) the attachment is at the bottom with VIEW and DOWNLOAD as options.

Re: [Micronet] attachments behavior in bMail

Joyce Martin
it turns out, our user had the conversation view on, and the attachment was in the first conversation.  He didn't received the email until the 4th iteration.
I can see how this can get confusing very quickly.
