[Micronet] scanned documents going to spam again

Roger Emond
Hello Micronet Community,

Has anyone else had their scanned documents from MFCs going to their spam folder? This started again about a week ago for my customers in Haviland. Adding the [hidden email] doesn't help.

Does anyone know if there has been a change to the campus mail filter?

Thanks in advance!

Roger

Re: [Micronet] scanned documents going to spam again

Anna Maurer

Hi Roger,

Not scanned documents, but we have noticed an issue with the campus mail filter in the last week or so.  An off campus user that several of us communicate with almost daily  – including the director and CFO – has had her emails to us start ending up in the Spam folder. Simple, plain, emails, no colors/fonts/graphics.

It usually works best if you ensure there is a message subject and text in the body of the message. If there is no text in the body and only the attached file, it’s more likely to go to spam.

I haven’t had any issues lately with our scans.

Don't forget to mark them "not Spam" so they go back to the inbox. And then, Click on the drop down menu next to the reply arrow. And choose to add the address to your contacts list. Any address on your "mycontacts" list will never go to spam.

By the way, adding a spoofed address of  [hidden email] is actually going to raise the spam score.
