I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but when I searched on the
term open academy on the Berkeley home page it pointed me to this.

http://content.berkeley.edu/departmentweb

"Open Academy is an academic departmental website in a box. Built by
Pantheon, Chapter Three, and UC Berkeley Information Services and
Technology, we have baked in critical functionality around departmental
news, faculty profiles, publications and presentations, events and
calendaring, courses, resources and links, video, social media, and degrees
and programs. Out of the box, Open Academy lets a department get an amazing
and extendible website."

Satya,

I would contact Yu-Tin Kuo in IST ([hidden email]) for an update on Open Academy for the campus. If he can't answer your questions, he'll point you to someone who can.

Good luck!
Michelle

You can download OpenAcademy now.  Just go to Berkeley Pantheon website.  Get a developer account, create a website, then make sure you install Panopoly and OpenAcademy instead of regular install.

thanks

Re: [Micronet] Open Academy Inquiry - openings for SEO workshop

Julie Ashworth
For what it's worth, I recently installed/configured OpenScholar for
a lab in the Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute;
http://despolab.berkeley.edu
It's currently hosted at dreamhost, but will eventually move it because
1) dreamhost is too slow
2) I want to use secure ldap authentication

I'm not a web designer/admin, and I found Openscholar pretty simple to
configure. I'm most impressed with the pubmed integration (drupal biblio
module).

Best,
Julie
